About the job

Would you like to work with analyses, data, development projects and ministerial support at the intersection of politics and the labor market? Do you have strong analytical competencies and an interest in working on some of the most important agendas in the labor market? Then we have an exciting position in the Data and Analysis Office at the Danish Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment (STAR).

Help develop knowledge, data and solutions for the labor market In the Office of Data and Analysis we work with analyses, data foundations and projects that support a knowledge-based employ ment effort and provide insight into what works in employment policy and developments in the labor market. We work closely with both the political agenda and the practical application of knowledge, analyses and data in practice.

  • work with governance, coordination and development tasks on larger data- and analysis projects
  • prepare analyses and decision briefs for management, the ministry and minister within the labor market area
  • work with registry data, programming and development of data foundations
  • support collaboration with other offices, researchers and external partners.

Be part of a strong professional environment In STAR you will become part of a professionally strong community that bridges policy, data, analyses, knowledge and practice. We take responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions that help the outside world and that work in practice. We value celebrating our results, and we cultivate cohesion – both professionally and socially. And we place emphasis on high professional standards, collaboration and integrity.

In Data and Analysis we are about 45 employees spread over two teams. We are a sociable office with high professionalism and a wide variety of tasks. The workday can sometimes be busy, but we help each other and prioritize both sparring, flexibility and a good working environment. You will receive thorough onboarding and good opportunities for both professional and personal development.

About you We imagine that you

  • can support, plan and drive central development projects and collaborate across STAR
  • have experience with or a desire to learn programming in e.g. Python, R or SAS
  • can communicate complex material clearly and understandably – both in writing and oral
  • can work independently while being a strong team player.
