Assistant Team Leader Sought for Velkomsthuset in Forensic Psychiatry at the Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans

Then the position as Assistant Team Leader in the Welcome House might be right for you. You will be a central part of the leadership of the Welcome House and, together with the team leader, share responsibility for the daily operation, the staff and the development of the area.

Description of the Welcome House

The Welcome House is located in the forensic-psychiatric building Udsigten at the Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans and serves as an access and service function for patients, relatives, partners and other visitors.

The Welcome House staff undertake, among other things, security tasks, patient visits and access control. The Welcome House is organizationally anchored in the Psychiatric Center's Temporary Staff Center (Psykiatriens Vikarcenter), and close collaboration is conducted with the clinical wards, as well as a number of internal and external partners.

Your role as Assistant Team Leader in the Welcome House

As Assistant Team Leader you will be the team leader's closest sparring partner and share responsibility for the daily management and coordination of the Welcome House staff. You will work with leadership tasks, administrative tasks and, if needed, actively participate in the daily operation.

Your tasks will include, among others

• participation in management and coordination of the staff in the Welcome House
• handling sickness absence in collaboration with the team leader
• professional sparring for the staff and managerial sparring for the team leader
• participation in recruitment, introduction and training of new staff
• contributing to ensuring that current guidelines, instructions, laws and patient rights are observed
• handling administrative tasks and ensuring good communication between Welcome House, the Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans and the Psychiatry's Temporary Staff Center

The position also entails that you, together with the team leader, share the managerial responsibility on weekends, during holiday periods and on public holidays.

Your competences and experience

It is an advantage if you have management experience that enables you to set frameworks and direction in staff leadership, as well as ideally that you have:

• flair for security and knowledge of patient visits
• experience from the security sector or familiarity with the health sector and psychiatric
• patients
• good IT skills (we use the Office package, Sundhedsplatformen and Optima)
• focus on good service and patient rights
• being a good listener, inclusive and contributing to a positive working environment, and communicating clearly and professionally with both staff and partners

Salary and terms of employment

You are employed in a full-time position of 37 hours per week. Start as soon as possible or by agreement.

As part of the employment, we ask you to present a criminal record.

You are employed under the collective agreement for administration and IT staff, etc., with salary placement as a specialist. During employment you are covered by the applicable working time rules agreed between the Regions' Salary and Pay Committee and HK Municipal.
