Authority Advisor for the Specialized Adult Area

The Adult Disability Team is part of Rebild Municipality's Center for Family and Disability. The team handles tasks pursuant to the Social Services Act for adults with reduced physical or mental functioning or with particular social problems, with the aim of ensuring that the individual receives a coherent and holistic effort that matches the individual's needs.

About the position

In the adult disability team we focus on developing the core service, involving the citizen and good interaction between authorities and interventions as well as other partners. We work focused on developing a more effective and economically sustainable case processing & have a focus on efficient management of the legal framework and the municipality's ability to systematize the work with cases. We do this based on a presumption that closer follow-up in the efforts and higher requirements for the implementer will ensure quality in casework.

Your area of work will be adults with special support needs described in the Social Services Act provisions for adults

• § 109 crisis centers & § 110 care homes.

In addition, you will provide advice and guidance as well as participate in interdisciplinary collaboration both internally in the municipality and externally.

We use KMD Nexus as a professional system and work with Common Professional Concepts based on the Adult Assessment Method (Voksenudredningsmetoden).

Your competence and personal profile

We expect that you

• Are a trained social worker or social facilitator – preferably with experience from the specialized adult area
• Have a particular interest in working with adults with reduced physical or mental functioning or special social problems.
• Like to be busy and see a challenge in constantly developing your work
• Can work independently and have a natural systematic approach in solving both the administrative and citizen-facing parts of case processing and emphasize high professional standards and good administrative conduct
• Personally, you must be solution-oriented, positive, and good at change and unforeseen tasks.

Rebild Municipality has a strong focus on involving citizens in the case processing and it is expected that you focus on close collaboration, openness and dialogue in the organization so that citizens experience coherence and wholeness in the effort.

Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement. References from previous employment and a criminal record check will be obtained before the position can be filled. Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and rules on New Pay.
