Experienced sickness benefits consultant sought for Copenhagen-North Zealand

Do you want to use your professional expertise to help sick-listed citizens back to work and at the same time become part of a strong employment-focused professional environment?

At Carelink Gruppen – Job & Trivsel we are looking for an experienced consultant who both has a solid grasp of sickness benefit legislation and can build a good and trustful relationship with the people you meet.

You will work closely with the citizens and help set direction, motivation and concrete steps towards the labor market. For us, a good effort is about professional quality, integrity and about seeing opportunities – even when the path back to work isn’t straight.

You will be part of our sickness benefit team based in Copenhagen. Your work will primarily take place at the job centers in Copenhagen and North Zealand, with which we collaborate. You will be assigned fixed or longer-term tasks rather than having to change workplaces from day to day. Here you will collaborate closely with citizens, municipal staff and your colleagues at Carelink.

Your task

You will among other things

• hold follow-up conversations with sick-listed citizens
• work targeted with the citizen’s path back to work or education
• create motivation and progress through clear, respectful and appreciative conversations
• work closely with job centers and other relevant actors
• develop rehabilitation plans, progression reports and other professional documentation
• help ensure a high professional quality and positive experiences for both citizens and partners.

We imagine that you

• are educated social worker, social mediator or have another relevant education
• have at least three years of experience with citizen conversations within the employment field
• have solid experience with sickness benefit legislation and legislative follow-up conversations
• have worked as, for example, a caseworker or job consultant in a job center or as a consultant with another actor
• are clear, empathetic and good at involving the citizen
• speak with people – not to them
• can combine demands and legislation with motivation, opportunities and a respectful approach
• are strong in both verbal and written communication
• have a driving license and access to a car.

The most important for us is that you both have the necessary professional foundation and the desire to make a concrete difference for the people you work with.
