Eurofins VBM Laboratory is part of Denmark's largest environmental laboratory and works with chemical analyses of soil, building materials and air. We handle the full course of a study - from initial planning and sampling to execution of analyses, including quality assurance and issuing results.

Job description

We are looking for a new Automation Specialist for our site in Aabybro. In this role you will be a central driving force in identifying, developing and implementing automated solutions that support efficiency and optimization of our processes.

You will act as a link between the business, internal stakeholders and external suppliers and will play an important role in ensuring that automation projects are carried out from idea to implementation. At the same time you will contribute to optimization and development projects across the organization.

Your duties will include, among other things

• Identification, development and implementation of automation solutions.
• Mapping and analysis of existing workflows and processes.
• Identification of areas where automation can create business value.
• Preparation of business cases, including calculation of time savings, ROI and other efficiency gains.
• Close collaboration with Eurofins' central Automation Team on the development and implementation of new solutions.
• Dialogue and coordination with external suppliers throughout the project from bidding to completed SAT test.
• Project management of optimization projects, renovations and other development initiatives.
• Ensuring progress, coordination and follow-up on technical projects.

Qualifications

We anticipate that you have a relevant technical education and experience with automation, process optimization or project management. You are motivated to identify improvement potentials and translate ideas into concrete solutions that create value for the business.

Professional qualifications

We would like you to have an educational background such as, for example

• Diploma in Engineering in automation
• Production Engineer
• Mechanical Engineer
• Or another relevant technical education

In addition, it is an advantage if you

• Have experience with project management and cross-functional project work.
• Have knowledge of or experience with Lean and continuous improvement work.
