Bankagerskolen is seeking as of December 1, 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter) a teacher with teaching qualifications in:

Mathematics (currently in the middle years)

German (currently in 6th and 7th grade)

Possibly English, Christianity and social studies

Additionally it would be very interesting if you also have music, for example.

We are a large school, so you should not hesitate to apply even if your teaching qualifications cover only some of the subjects.

Bankagerskolen is a well-run and development-oriented school located in the southern part of Horsens. The area is an attractive residential area with an engaged and resourceful parent group that strongly supports the school.

The good collaboration at the school is highlighted by both parents and staff. The school has among the students a generally high level of well-being and generally good results. The school is an open-plan school, and that means openness and helpfulness are at the forefront among the school's nearly 800 students and about 100 staff. The school is in growth and has 3-4 streams in each year group.

Bankagerskolen is divided into two phases – Phase 1 and Phase 2 – where Phase 1 consists of after-school care + ages 0-3 and Phase 2 of ages 4-9. We have prioritized that there are two leaders in both phases, so they have a good opportunity to support the staff in daily operations.

About the position

We are looking for an ambitious and development-oriented teacher with teaching qualifications in the above subjects.

You must be passionate about the role of class teacher and the tasks that come with this role. You will be part of a strong professional community with skilled colleagues who you can rely on, and who are ready to help you.

In principle, it is a full-time position with permanent employment.

Requirements for the position

You are educated as a primary school teacher, have a natural professional interest in and knowledge about both good teaching and good pedagogy, as well as a curiosity to explore different approaches to the teaching task.
