Build your role as the customer's financial sparring partner

As an outsourcing trainee with us you become part of a function that Beierholm calls outsourcing. Many of our customers choose to let Beierholm handle all or part of their finance function, so they can focus on what they do best. That's where you come into the picture.

You become part of the customers' daily lives, where you help both to operate and develop their finance function. You work with customer-specific tasks including, among other things, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT reporting, and controlling. Through the tasks you gain a solid understanding of different business models and financial processes, while gaining hands-on experience with several financial systems. The daily work is diverse and varied with many different tasks, where it's important that you can keep an overview and thrive on switching between customers and tasks during the day.

Along the way you gain experience with different types of companies and insight into how finance works in practice across industries. Even though you have responsibility, you are never alone. You are closely supported by both your immediate manager and a buddy, who supports you through on-the-job training and helps you get started well in the trainee role.

A structured trainee program

Beierholm's trainee program consists of a two-year educational path with 8 physical modules of 2 to 4 days duration. Here you meet the other Beierholm trainees who started at the same time as you, and you get the opportunity to exchange ideas, network, and learn together. The modules are complemented by digital instruction, so you have the theory in advance and can use the time for hands-on learning.

Your path to Beierholm

As an outsourcing trainee you should enjoy working with numbers and finance, but also with people and customers. However, there is not one single right way into the role of outsourcing trainee with us. Perhaps you come directly from HHX, STX, EUX, or perhaps you are in the process of, or have completed, a education such as financial economist, financial controller, finance bachelor, HA, or similar.

“I started as a trainee right after high school. The transition was something I was a bit nervous about, but I was just really well received.
