About the job

Do you want to join a team with a strong professional culture and a good sense of community, which daily makes a big difference for citizens in the Central Denmark Region? At the Prehospital base in Brædstrup, we are currently seeking a new colleague for a 24-hour shift.

With us you will become part of a team that every day responds and delivers high-level care at both acute and subacute incidents. You will have a job where professionalism and collegiality are at the forefront. We pull together - in the ambulance, at the base and throughout the organization.

You will become part of a fixed partnership on the 24-hour shift, and the base has an around-the-clock ambulance in operation, which creates a robust and strong professional environment.

What can we offer?

  • A varied working day: You will encounter complex and diverse patient pathways. In acute situations you must act quickly; at other times you treat the patient and make a plan so that the person avoids having to go to the hospital
  • Ongoing continuing education: Upskilling is a fixed part of everyday life with us, and you are also involved in choosing the direction of your continuing education
  • Visible leadership: We prioritise visible leadership and focus on influence, well-being and safety – physically as well as mentally
  • Flexibility in the work: We strive to plan shifts based on your wishes and have a culture where we will go to great lengths to ensure you experience a balance between private life and working life.

Employment terms

You will be employed in the Prehospital Department for ambulances and rapid-response vehicles. The department is led by a department management consisting of an ambulance chief and a chief physician, as well as a functional leadership with 11 functional leaders who manage the day-to-day leadership of the ambulance personnel.

In the position you will report to the functional head Oliver Kring.

Who are you?

You are trained as a paramedic or ambulance clinician and stand strong on your professional foundation. We are looking for you who:

  • Are passionate about helping and delivering high quality in both the acute and subacute
  • Want to work in an environment where change and development are a natural part of daily life
  • Actively contribute to an open, inclusive and solution-oriented collaborative environment
  • See the value in both professional immersion and humor in everyday life
  • Want to be part of a base where we take care of one another – professionally and personally.

Who are we?

The Prehospital service is responsible for the prehospital area in the Central Denmark Region, and our overarching task and vision is clear: to ensure the right help at the right time for all patients.

In line with the region's other hospitals, Prehospital services handle operations, treatment, education, quality assurance and research tasks. Here you meet colleagues with many different professional backgrounds, all sharing the same goal - to deliver the best possible care and to create safety and quality for patients.
