Beder School seeks maternity leave substitutes for the middle school as of 1 January 2027

About the job

There are positions with durations of ½ and 1 year respectively. There may possibly be an opportunity for permanent employment.

You are trained as a teacher and have major subjects in Danish or mathematics and crafts/design. There will also be co-teaching lessons in the timetable, where you are two teachers to plan, implement and evaluate the teaching. In addition, we look forward to reading what you can teach.

Beder School

At Beder School you enter a strong learning community. We are generally focused on creating inclusive learning environments. Therefore we work purposefully with approaches in teaching and pedagogy, so all children experience accessible and motivating communities.

You will work in teams of teachers who collaborate on learning and well-being for all pupils. At Beder School we work with pupils being active in their learning, and we give pupils positive feedback on their development of academic competencies and life skills. Pupils should experience that they are actors in their own school life by gaining opportunities to participate and influence. With that focus we work with co-teaching as one of our approaches.

Among both pupils and staff we see diversity as a strength, and we work with relationship competence so that both children and adults feel they are part of a community. The school–home collaboration has a high priority in the work to ensure all children thrive and learn.

Your profile

• You are trained as a teacher with Danish or mathematics and crafts/design as major subjects
• You have experience with or an interest in co-teaching as part of the inclusion task.
• You want to work with the children’s different possibilities in learning communities
• You are prepared to collaborate in a professional learning community with both teachers, educational staff, parents, PPR and management.
• You see yourself in the work that all children feel acknowledged for the different competencies they bring to the school.
• You will work to ensure that all children encounter appropriate challenges both academically and socially
• You want to learn and develop yourself – together with us

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiation with the union competent body based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement which can form the basis for salary setting

Weekly hours: 37 hours

Employment start: 1/1 2027
