Teacher for lower primary (grades 1-3)

Would you like to help create playful, creative and meaningful learning environments for our youngest students?

At Lynghedeskolen we are seeking a teacher for the primary school who is eager to actively contribute to the school's ongoing work to develop Playful Learning, including project-based learning.

For us, Playful Learning is a pedagogical approach that unfolds in practice through engaging and meaningful learning processes in interdisciplinary projects, where the students' wellbeing, participation and academic development go hand in hand.

We imagine that you love thinking outside the box and trying new things in teaching. You can plan and carry out meaningful and engaging learning processes, where the students are active co-players.

You will become part of a well-functioning primary school team, where collaboration, professional sparring and relationship work are central guiding points.

In the primary school we work according to the Billund Municipality's school policy, where creativity and the involvement of the children are in focus.

We expect that you

• Are a trained teacher with teaching competencies in mathematics, physical education/swimming and preferably N/T. Other subject competencies may also be relevant.
• Have an interest in – and preferably experience with – teaching in the primary school.
• Can create clear frameworks and safe learning environments as well as build strong, professional relationships with the students.
• Contributes actively to team collaboration and the school's common pedagogical development.

The position is a permanent full-time position at Lynghedeskolen with commencement on January 1, 2027.

Lynghedeskolen is a school with primary, special department SFO and USFO. The school is spread over 2 sites. There are 640 students in the school part, distributed in 0th–9th grade,
