Movement-loving educator sought for the Kindergarten 7-Spring

We are looking for two movement-loving pedagogues to

• a permanent position with employment as soon as possible.
• a fixed-term position with employment as soon as possible until 31 March 2027.

The positions are originally scheduled for 37 hours per week. If you are not interested in this amount of hours, you should not let that deter you from applying. We are open if, for various reasons, you would prefer a different number of hours.

Brønderslev Municipality and the Day Care Area East opened the doors to our brand-new kindergarten in January 2022. Kindergarten 7-Spring is normed for 75 children aged 3-6 years; we currently have 44 children. The kindergarten is situated in beautiful surroundings with a large, nice playground and close to Hjallerup School in a large newly built residential area.

The kindergarten is part of the DGI project "Beveg deg for livet" (Move yourself for life). We work from the understanding that the desire for an active adult life is largely created in childhood. Therefore, the focus of the kindergarten is to offer all children a stimulating environment where they can experience the joy of being in movement and physically active. We have fantastic facilities, including a large motor skills room and climbing frames/gyms.

In Kindergarten 7-Spring the children are currently divided into two base groups, but all collaborate closely throughout the building. We target our work based on the children's well-being and development by planning activities and play across groups. Play and movement are integrated into daily activities with the children.

We createsettings that help stimulate the children's joy of movement, give them motor challenges, and develop the "Body ABC" so that the children in the kindergarten learn to master their own motor skills. The staff's pedagogical competencies and focus are on ensuring that the activities conducted with the children help develop the children's motor skills while promoting the joy of being active and moving.
