We are looking for a blacksmith for steel trusses and load-bearing structures in Gånsager.

You will be part of a production where steel trusses and load-bearing steel structures are made to order. It is business-oriented tasks where there is control of drawings, calculations and production before the steel lands with the blacksmiths. The team is larger than a classic workshop, so you will have colleagues around you, but still a daily routine where you can take responsibility for your own work.

The role suits you if you can work independently and still be a proper part of the community. Here it is about making pre-work, processing and assembly mesh, so the construction is ready for the next step. Your everyday The order is drawn up and calculated before it hits production. You work with the steel through pre-work, processing, fitting and assembly, so the construction matches what has been agreed. There is both craftsmanship and production rhythm to it, and you must be able to keep a cool head when parts need to fit together.

You will, among other things, work with

• Prepares and maches steel items for further production
• Manufactures and assembles steel structures to order
• Cuts, drills and fits steel pieces
• Works according to production drawings and agreed dimensions
• Prepares parts for the next step in production

When something doesn’t add up, you speak up in time rather than letting the error ripple on. That’s how everyday life works best, especially when several skilled hands have to hit the same result.

• Have at least 4 years of experience as a blacksmith
• Can work independently with pre-work and assembly
• Have experience with steel constructions or similar production
• Are stable and show up as agreed
• Say something if something doesn’t add up

It’s a plus if you have worked with production drawings, fitting or steel constructions. The most important is that you take your trade seriously and can maintain a decent rhythm in the work.
