About the job

If you’re looking for new challenges as an experienced building case handler, we can welcome you to our team. We offer a position in a strong professional and social community, where we both have a fast pace, help each other and thrive.

A job with professional depth and variety

With us you will have the opportunity to work with complex commercial cases, larger housing developments, exemptions from local plans and legally challenging appeal cases. We aim for you to get cases that match your interests and competencies. We place emphasis on you wanting to develop professionally.

We are looking for a colleague who has flair for and an interest in analyzing difficult problems and finding solutions that balance citizens’ wishes, the law and political goals. You think it’s fun to go into depth, ask the right questions and find the way forward. You have an eye for good dialogue and clear communication.

You will also help maintain our short case processing times, and ensure high-quality case handling. A short processing time is not only important for citizens and businesses – it also contributes to a good working environment.

You will participate in the team’s on-call rotation with screening of incoming cases and answering the phone. You will also experience that we work hard to have a really good collaboration with citizens, associations and business life. And we want to become even better.

Our team – professionally strong and socially well-functioning

We are 12 building case handlers and two student assistants who work closely together and complement each other in everyday life. We have a strong mentoring culture and prioritise both professional development and social activities. We complement each other in every respect. The collaboration extends beyond the team, where we have close dialogue with colleagues across the entire administration.

Who are you?

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Has experience as a building case handler
  • Has flair for and interest in analyzing complex issues
  • Wants to contribute to our professional community and social cohesion
  • Wants to help develop our professional quality, case processes and our team
  • Can express themselves clearly and precisely – both in writing and verbally
  • Has flair for political servicing

We are seeking an engaged colleague who values the sense of community and is excited about a large and varied portfolio. You could, for example, be an engineer, architect, construction technician, contractor, surveyor or the like.

Your new workplace

You will become part of Plan and Building with 24 colleagues who work with municipal plan, local plans, urban development, building case processing, BBR and supervision of social housing.

We are part of the Center for City and Environment (CBM), which also consists of Nature & Environment and Climate & Mobility, Driftsgården and Servicevagten. The Center has the following value base: ” In the Center for City and Environment (CBM) we are driven by professional curiosity, responsibility and the desire to make a difference – both for the citizens and for each other. We are ambitious, bold and helpful, and we emphasize open dialogue, collaboration and shared learning.

We prioritise creating a working environment where we keep our promises, celebrate our successes – and laugh together in everyday life.” As a building case handler you become part of this community, and we expect that you are eager to contribute actively to the culture and spirit we cherish in CBM.

We are based at the town hall in Værløse, where we have open offices, flexible desks, a good canteen and changing facilities.
