About the job

At Blindecenter Bredegaard we work every day to create meaningful and secure everyday lives for adults with visual impairment combined with other cognitive and physical disabilities.

If you can see yourself in an environment where interdisciplinarity, calm, relationships and professional curiosity go hand in hand – then you are the one we are looking for.

We are seeking a new colleague for House DE – you may have the following professional backgrounds: social educators, pedagogical assistant, occupational therapist, psychomotor therapist, SSA, SSH and nurse .

Your work with us

The work in House DE is both exciting and varied. Together with your colleagues and the residents you plan pedagogical and interdisciplinary interventions that aim to strengthen the residents' possibilities, skills and quality of life.

You work in the residents' homes, and relationship work is therefore a central part of the task. Care and nursing are a natural part of the pedagogical effort and are always considered together with development, self-determination and safety. In House DE you will experience a daily life where you work with structure, presence and communication – and with practical and health-related tasks.

You will become an important part of an environment where no task stands alone: sensory work, low arousal, pedagogical interventions and health-related observations are elements that together create well-being and security for the residents.

The pace in the houses can sometimes be high, but the professionalism and collaboration are always our firm foundation.

Your tasks

  • Support the residents in everyday activities, engagement and leisure.
  • Participate in care tasks (including personal care).
  • Work with communication, sensory integration and neuro-pedagogical methods.
  • Observation and documentation tasks in Nexus.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues with many different professional backgrounds.
  • Collaboration with relatives and networks.
  • Role as contact person for 1–2 residents with responsibility for planning, goals and follow-up.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a colleague who

  • is professionally curious and comfortable working in a specialized environment.
  • can maintain overview and calm in changing situations.
  • is collaborative and good at communicating.
  • thrives with both development tasks and care tasks.
  • wants to learn new things – we will thoroughly equip you.

You do not need to know everything. We are looking for the right professional curiosity and motivation.

What you get with us

  • A thorough introduction program and ongoing professional supervision.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and collegial solidarity.

  • Opportunity for professional and personal development.
  • Mixed shifts between 07:00–23:00 and potential for 16-hour shifts.
  • A workplace where both professionalism and humor have a place.

Practical information

  • The position is 37 hours per week.
  • Start as soon as possible.
  • Employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
  • Please send your application, CV and certificate of education no later than November 25, 2026.
  • We will invite for interviews on an ongoing basis.
