Blomsterengen's Special Unit Margueritten is seeking 2 new colleagues

We are looking for 2 engaged social and health care helpers or social and health care assistants for our special unit Margueritten at 37 hours per week. A smaller number of hours can be arranged.

Margueritten is Blomsterengen's special unit with 9 permanent homes and 2 temporary homes .

With us there is room to think anew and plenty of good humor . We believe that a good working environment and strong collegiality are an important part of creating the best daily life for our residents.

You will become part of a group of lovely, engaged and professionally strong SSHs and SSAs , who help each other and have a positive approach to both residents, relatives and colleagues.

And yes – days rarely look the same . That’s part of what makes the job exciting.

We work from the individual resident's life history and Blomsten . For us, good care means more than just care – it means seeing the person behind the dementia and creating security, quality of life and good moments in everyday life.

You will have your own residents, for whom you become a contact person , giving you the opportunity to build a close and trusting relationship with both residents and their relatives.

We have a close multidisciplinary collaboration with among others

• Relatives
• Dementia consultants
• Therapists
• Activity staff
• Your skilled colleagues in the department

You don’t need to know everything in advance.

We offer you Vejen Municipality’s dementia education as well as the course ”From Threatened to Challenged” . If you already have experience in the dementia field, that is of course a big advantage – but the most important for us is that you have the desire and commitment to learn.

🕐 Practical information

The position is generally day shifts with weekend shifts on average every 3rd weekend. There is an allowance for work in the special unit .

Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement. A criminal record check is required upon employment.
