Kindergarten class teacher at Sletten School, Krogsbølle department

We are seeking a kindergarten class teacher who is passionate about being part of Sletten School, Krogsbølle campus.

The position

The position is a permanent appointment starting 1 December 2026, 37 hours per week. As an applicant you can indicate if you wish to be employed at a lower number of hours.

As a kindergarten class teacher you will be a central adult in the children's first encounter with the school. You will play an important role in creating safe environments, smooth transitions from daycare to school, and inclusive learning environments where all children experience themselves as meaningful participants in the community.

Your tasks will include

• planning and conducting teaching and activities in the kindergarten class, with a special focus on learning through play
• systematically working with the children’s well-being, relationships and opportunities to participate
• supporting the children's linguistic, social and personal development
• creating structures and learning environments that provide participation opportunities for all children
• working closely with teachers, pedagogues, resource center and management
• contributing to good transitions from daycare to school
• participating in professional team collaboration with a focus on reflection and development of practice
• actively collaborating with parents as an important resource in the children's development

In upcoming subject distributions you should expect to participate in after-school care (SFO) for a smaller portion of the timetable, corresponding to up to five hours per week. With a contract of 32 hours per week or less this will not be relevant.

We are a school district spread over four sites, aiming to develop all district children personally, socially and academically. You will have three other kindergarten class teachers as colleagues.

We always have ambitions on the behalf of each child - regardless of the child’s starting point. In the coming school year we will work on implementing our shared view of children.

Expected salary range will be disclosed at the first interview. The final salary is determined based on your qualifications and previous work experience and after specific negotiation with the trade union.
