Head of the Children's House at Pilebo – we're trying again, because we insist on finding the right one

Yes, you read that right. We have posted this position before. In fact, several times. Not because we doubt what we are looking for, but because we are entirely sure what we hope to find. Therefore we try again. In Børnehuset Pilebo we are looking for a nursery school leader who wants to lead a nursery with lots of potential, skilled staff, engaged parents and not least 70 fantastic children. A leader who can see development opportunities, create direction in change and together with the staff shape the next chapter for Pilebo. The position starts on 1 January 2027.

Who are we?

Pilebo is a nursery for children aged 0-6 and one of eight nursery houses in the Area Institution Mørkhøj in Gladsaxe Municipality. At Pilebo we work from a fundamental belief that all children are everyones responsibility , and that we as professionals are committed to creating participation opportunities for all children. This means that we work every day to create an educational environment where children feel part of the community. An environment with room for play, immersion, curiosity, big laughs and strong relationships. And where good organization helps ensure that the educational quality can unfold.

Why is the position exciting?

Pilebo stands at an interesting crossroads. Recently the nursery has undergone organizational changes including a temporary leadership and new staff. Therefore we now have an important leadership task: to bring together, develop and create common direction.

We are looking for a leader who can create coherence between people, professionalism and structure.

A leader who can

• Set a clear direction
• Be close to practice and staff in daily work
• Follow up on agreements and initiatives
• Support reflection, evaluation and learning
• Strengthen educational quality and develop the strong communities for the children

You will be part of something bigger

As nursery leader you report to the area manager and become part of a strong and committed leadership community with the other nursery leaders in the Area Institution Mørkhøj. We believe good leadership is created in interaction with others. Therefore we prioritise sparring, shared reflection and close collaboration on the tasks we face across the area.

Salary and terms of employment

According to the current leader agreement and an advance agreement with BUPL.
