In Bækkehøj Børneunivers in Skjern we are looking for, as of January 1, 2027

1 qualified pedagogue or pedagogical assistant in a permanent 30-hour position currently in our oldest group.

1 qualified pedagogue or pedagogical assistant in a permanent 30-34 hour position currently in our nursery.

Are you focused on contributing to the development of pedagogical practice, and do you have a focus on creating the best wellbeing and development conditions for children in the 0-6 year age group – then you are the one we are seeking.

At Bækkehøj Børneunivers we have 2 nursery groups with about 24 children distributed over two rooms and 63 children in the kindergarten distributed over three groups.

Our institution is centrally located relative to the hall and the town center, and there are many opportunities for good nature experiences in the local area. We have good physical facilities with bright group rooms, a motor skills room, workshop and a large fantastic playground.

As an employee you will become part of a shared unit consisting of Bækkehøj Børneunivers, Fredensgades Børnehave and Dagplejen in Skjern. Throughout the unit, work is based on the strengthened pedagogical learning plan and Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality’s Common Child and Youth Perspective.

Your qualifications

• You are a trained pedagogue and skilled in relational work with both children and adults.
• You are professional, caring and present, and you take the children’s perspectives as your starting point.
• You create inclusive communities and support children in vulnerable positions.
• You take initiative and work independently, while also forming good collaborative relationships with your colleagues.
• You work based on the strengthened pedagogical learning plan, where you initiate diverse activities for the children based on the pedagogical foundation, the curriculum themes and the 12 broad learning goals.
• You contribute to good parent cooperation and accommodate parents’ diversity.
• You are stable, dutiful and loyal to the workplace.
• You are prepared for your working hours to lie between 6:20 and 16:30.
• You will have the opportunity to shape daily life in a warm and engaged community, where children’s joy and development are at the center. And where we focus on wellbeing, job satisfaction and professional development.
• You are passionate about working with children aged 0-6 years.
• You are interested in preschool work and will work on good transitions.
• Maybe you are trained as a language guide, motor skills guide or observations pedagogue? This is not a requirement though.
