About the job

Would you like to use your analytical skills and your commercial understanding to translate data, economics and complex issues into supporting the development of ARC? We are looking for a business consultant for a newly created position in the Directorate Secretariat and Communications, where you will work closely with management and contribute to important decisions across the organization.

You will have a central role in creating an overview, developing analyses and driving selected initiatives forward. Your tasks cross ARC's business areas with a particular focus on the energy business.

About the job

You will have a versatile role with a high degree of independence and a broad network across the organization. You will work with both concrete operational issues and larger development initiatives, where you in close collaboration with managers and areas contribute to creating an overview, qualifying initiatives and ensuring progress.

Your tasks will include

  • Prepare data-driven analyses and translate results into concrete recommendations.
  • Support the energy business with prioritization and progress in development initiatives.
  • Qualify and mature new initiatives as well as coordinate cross-cutting projects in collaboration with managers and areas.
  • Follow up on decisions, deliverables and projects and contribute to the development of workflows and governance tools.
  • Contribute to consultation responses, access requests and other cross-cutting tasks.
  • Prepare decision proposals and presentation materials for the executive management, leadership and board.

Who are you?

We imagine you have a relevant higher education, e.g. in business economics or similar, as well as experience with analysis and project work.

We emphasize that you

  • Have strong analytical skills and can use Excel to structure and translate data into concrete recommendations.
  • Have strong financial, commercial and business understanding.
  • Work in a structured and independent way and take responsibility for creating progress.
  • Have experience with project management and coordination across areas.
  • Communicate clearly and precisely in Danish, both written and spoken.
  • Are good at collaborating with different professional backgrounds and organizational levels.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the energy or utility sector or have worked with development tasks close to management, but it is not a requirement. The most important is that you are curious, take initiative, quickly can immerse yourself in new issues and thrive in solving the many different tasks the company needs.

We offer

At ARC we work with an important societal task within waste management, recycling and energy production.

You will gain a great deal of autonomy and the opportunity to shape both your tasks and the development of the role. You will become part of a professional environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing and different competencies help create good solutions.

In addition we offer

  • A strong professional environment with skilled and engaged colleagues close to the decisions.
  • Good opportunities for professional development in a societally critical company.
  • A full-time position of 37 hours per week with pay and employment terms according to municipal collective agreements and applicable ARC agreements.
  • Attractive staff benefits, including gym, group training, physiotherapy, reflexology, subsidy for your lunch arrangement and social activities and events.

Interested?

We want the position filled by 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. We expect to hold the first round of interviews on 19 and 20 November and the second round on 26 November

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to write to the Secretariat and Communications Manager Nils Thor Rosted at [email protected]. If you would like a telephone clarification, you can send your phone number, and you will be contacted.
