We spend our days at the historic Copenhagen City Hall. Our tasks have great political attention, and every day we work to make Copenhagen a better city to live, work and thrive in. The office plays an important role in ensuring that the city develops to accommodate the expected population growth, while the city develops in economic, social, climatic and sustainable balance.
The Planning Office is part of the Center for Urban Development in the Finance Administration of Copenhagen Municipality. The center consists of seven offices, all working with the municipality's overall urban development, including municipal planning, traffic planning, Østhavnen, partnerships, large events, crime prevention as well as the municipality's companies and land sales.
