We are seeking an occupational therapist or physiotherapist with experience in authority tasks for the assistive device area in Samsø Municipality.

About the job

You will be part of a small and well-functioning authority team, where decision paths are short, and where collaboration and professional sparring are a natural part of everyday work.

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration across the municipality, hospital and general practice

About us

The assistive devices area consists of two therapeutic professionals and two assessors. We have close cooperation with the visiting teams in home care and in nursing homes, and we collaborate closely with the municipality's service worker on delivery, repair and reuse of assistive devices.

As an island municipality, we offer a close working environment where you have a large influence on task solving and the opportunity to influence the development of the area.

We also have a strong collaboration with Odder Municipality on the assistive device depot, procurement and professional network.

We offer

  • A meaningful job with extensive citizen contact
  • A high degree of independence and flexibility
  • Close interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Good opportunities for sparring and professional development
  • An area in development where your ideas and experience are valued
  • For commuters we will agree on terms

We are looking for someone who

  • Is educated as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
  • Has experience with authority tasks and placement of assistive devices
  • Has an interest in rehabilitation, assistive devices and the working environment
  • Works independently, structured and solution-oriented
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates well with both citizens and colleagues
  • Has good IT skills
