Caseworker sought for the Specialized Adult Area

The Social Department's Unit for Long-Term Interventions seeks as of December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible an experienced colleague who wants to work with people with a permanent physical and/or mental disability and their relatives and networks.

The Authority Department in the Social Department is organized into three units. The Unit for Prevention and Clarification, The Unit for Temporary Interventions and The Unit for Long-Term Interventions.

In the Unit for Long-Term Interventions we are responsible for citizens who need an intervention from the Social Department throughout their lives, including for example a long-term housing offer and a day care offer.

We focus on engaging in an inclusive and effective collaboration with the citizens and their networks. We are concerned with whether our interventions have the intended effect, and we work towards maximum self-reliance and (re)habilitation for our citizens.

We assess all citizens using the adult assessment method. We have a close and good collaboration with the municipality's housing and day care services in the adult area, the citizens and their relatives, as well as a number of external partners in the field.

As a department we place importance on space for sparring, knowledge sharing and helping each other in daily life. We are busy, but we also have room for humor and a good tone, and we emphasize a good working environment.

Your tasks will be

• advice and guidance for adults with reduced function and their relatives
• case handling within the adult area according to the Danish Act on Social Services for adults, including adult assessments and recommendations for assistance
• preparation of decisions and action plans
• follow-up and clarification conversations with citizens, relatives and partners
• preparation of guardianship and housing arrangements for the Family Court

We expect that you

• are educated as social worker, social facilitator or have another relevant qualification
• have experience with or an interest in the specialized adult sector
• have knowledge of the adult assessment method and work systematically with application and follow-up cases
• have a high level of reflection and be able to reflect on one's own role in the work
• are service-oriented, flexible and have a good mood as well as good collaboration skills

Salary and employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the current agreement with the Danish Association of Social Workers, Frederiksberg Municipality's Municipal Association or another collective bargaining organization. Salary is negotiated according to the principles of Ny løn (New Pay).

The working hours are 37 hours per week with flextime arrangement.
