We are currently seeking a childminder, where your workplace is at your home. The day care in Thisted Municipality consists of 83 skilled and engaged childminders distributed over 13 districts, four day care pedagogues, of which one is a team leader, two full-time elected representatives and a section leader. Although the job is independent, you will become part of a large network, where there is always a team behind you, ready with support and sparring.

This means that there are many colleagues, playroom groups and professional partnerships, day care pedagogues, external professionalities and your section leader to discuss day care everyday life with.

When you are a childminder, there are a lot of bonuses that come with it, such as

• You plan your everyday life yourself based on the group of children you have.
• Close support, advice and guidance from the day care pedagogue.
• The possibility of preparing food, laundry and other tasks as pedagogical activities and, of course, also in your breaks.
• The possibility of having your own 0 – 2 year old children in day care.
• Free on weekends and holidays.
• No commuting time to and from the job.
• The possibility to be at home when your own children come home from school and during school holidays.
• Training in the professional jf. the strengthened pedagogical curriculum, which all early childhood services work from, as part of the Day Care Act.
• Working with action learning as part of developing oneself and one’s own practice. This happens, among other things, through video recordings of yourself in interaction with the children, and viewed through an ICDP perspective. It is with a focus on being part of an evaluation culture and making yourself wiser about doing even more of what we know supports the children’s well-being, development, learning and formation, which is constantly moving and changing in the context.

Salary is fixed according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local wage formation. The concrete salary range will be provided prior to the interview.

Applicants and persons over 15 years old in the household must sign a consent declaration regarding the collection of a police clearance certificate if employed.
