Church singer

Would you like to be a visible and active part of church life on Mols and Helgenæs? Tved-Helgenæs-Vistoft and Knebel-Rolsø-Agri-Egens parishes are seeking a church singer for our seven churches: Tved, Helgenæs, Vistoft, Knebel, Vrinners, Agri and Egens.

We hope to be able to hire our new church singer by December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is 22 hours per week, and you will be part of a committed staff community consisting of two priests, two organists and the other staff of the churches. Together we work to create good services, liturgical actions and a living church life in our parishes.

As a church singer you will have a central role in the churches' worship life. You shall participate in high masses, religious actions and other services in collaboration with priests and organists. The position includes work on Sundays and public holidays, and we therefore seek a person who thrives with and delights in the church’s special rhythm through the liturgical year.

We are looking for a church singer who

• has knowledge of and preferably experience with services, church music and liturgy
• has a good singing voice, musical understanding and preferably church singer education
• can work independently and take responsibility for own tasks
• also thrives in close collaboration with the other staff of the churches
• is flexible and contributes positively to the community
• is creative and wants to contribute ideas for church life
• is good at planning and structuring own tasks
• has a driver's license and access to a car
• wants to be part of an active and development-oriented church life

employment of a church singer is governed by the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and CO10 - Central Organization of 2010 and the organizational agreement between the Ministry of Church Affairs and CO10 for church functionaries with core tasks such as clerk, church and cultural worker or church musician and the accompanying protocol for church musicians.

The annual salary is agreed within the range of DKK 333,748 – 475,590 (current kroner).

There is a duty to be available for the position. The availability allowance amounts to DKK 27,641 per year (current kroner).

OK allowance of DKK 1,082 (current kroner) per year.

Salary, OK allowance and availability allowance are quotaed in accordance with the position’s employment fraction.
