The Establishment and Terrain Command (ETK) is a nationwide organization with many diverse and dynamic tasks. Our main task is to provide and develop the physical frameworks for the Armed Forces’ operative units as well as the other authorities under the Defence Command.

We ensure that the Defence has modern, functional and well-maintained facilities that support daily operations and operative efforts. We have employees spread across service locations across the country, while the head office is located in Hjørring.

About the position

As a cleaning assistant at the Establishment and Terrain Command you will become an important part of a dedicated team that every day works purposefully to maintain high standards of cleaning and service. We ensure that both employees and guests at the Jutland Dragon Regiment in Holstebro meet clean and inviting surroundings.

Who are you

We are looking for a committed and responsible cleaning assistant for our cleaning team in Holstebro.

You have experience with professional cleaning – preferably from larger workplaces – and you are familiar with, or willing to learn, INSTA 800 standards. You work independently, efficiently and have an eye for detail.

As a person you are stable, punctual and demonstrate engagement in everyday life. You have a positive approach to work and actively contribute to a good working environment.

You will become part of a well-functioning cleaning team consisting of 12 skilled colleagues – both skilled workers and cleaning assistants – who all contribute to a strong sense of community and a high standard in our daily work.

We expect that you

• Have industry knowledge and at least 3 years of experience from a similar position
• Have a well-developed service mindset and understand how to create value for both users and colleagues
• Prioritize quality in your work and can find practical solutions when unforeseen challenges arise
• Can express yourself clearly in Danish – both verbally and in writing
• Radiate positive energy and motivate your colleagues through your engagement and good example

• Are prepared for weekend work in rare cases
• Are keen on ongoing competence development , so you can further strengthen your professional skills

Terms of employment

The appointment is made in accordance with the currently applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector (OAO-S Collective Agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for cleaning assistants, sanitarians, skilled workers and certain vocational graduates in the state, etc. (3F).

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is a possibility of negotiating allowances. There is an employer-financed pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Holstebro.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be security-cleared and maintain the clearance throughout the period of employment.

You have a duty as an employee to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.

About the Establishment and Terrain Command

The Establishment and Terrain Command (ETK) supports and services military and civilian authorities under the Ministry of Defence. Our task is to deliver and develop attractive physical frameworks that are necessary for their daily work.

We build new, maintain, run canteens and clean at service locations nationwide.
