About the job

Would you like to use your dietary professional expertise to make a difference for elderly and seriously ill citizens? And do you thrive with independent work, complex nutritional issues and close cross-disciplinary collaboration? Then you may be our new colleague at Hvidovre Health Center.

An professionally rewarding everyday life with the citizen at the centre At Hvidovre Health Center we coordinate the efforts for elderly undernourished and nutritionally at-risk citizens with a holistic view of the individual. The goal is to strengthen citizens' nutritional status, quality of life and ability to remain in their own homes, as well as prevent (re)hospitalizations.

As a clinical dietitian you will primarily be responsible for individual nutritional guidance and treatment of elderly with poor appetite and nutritionally at-risk individuals as well as seriously ill citizens and their relatives. You usually work in the citizens' own homes, where you encounter diverse and complex nutritional issues.

An important part of the task is also to guide and support nursing staff in care centers, in home care and on respite placements. You will thus become a central professional sparring partner who helps translate nutritional knowledge into everyday practice.

The health center's clinical dietitians also work with dietary treatment of citizens with, among others, COPD, diabetes, cancer and overweight, as well as with outreach tasks in the health center and other municipal institutions.

Become part of a small team with strong collaboration You will be part of a team of three clinical dietitians, where we spar with each other, share knowledge and help each other solve the overall portfolio of tasks.

We are a workplace with many professional disciplines and different tasks that contribute to a dynamic working environment. We prioritize high well-being, an informal tone and room for both professional deepening and a good laugh.

Here you will have good opportunities for professional development and influence on your own workday. We work independently, but ensure ongoing coordination, prioritization and sparring with each other so that we succeed with the tasks together.

We provide a bicycle when you need to go out to citizens and partners outside the health center.

We are looking for someone who

  • is a trained clinical dietitian and has experience with nutrition therapy, preferably within geriatrics and tube feeding
  • thrives with individualized diet therapy of complex nutritional issues and can tailor your guidance to the individual citizen
  • works evidence-based and keeps yourself updated on the latest knowledge within the nutrition field
  • has a desire to teach and disseminate nutritional knowledge to both citizens and colleagues
  • is motivated by interprofessional collaboration and can support other professional groups in their work with nutrition
  • thrives with independent responsibility and at the same time prioritises ongoing dialogue and sparring with colleagues
  • wants to contribute to the continued development of the municipal nutrition area.

Further information about the position: It is a maternity cover for 37 hours per week, which we aim to fill on February 1, 2027. There may be occasional evening work to a limited extent.

Please call to hear more about the position from the dietitians Sarah Bohl Jensen (tel. 61971624) and Louise Thunbo (61971617) or the Sous-Chef in Health and Prevention Maria Bleiback Clausen (tel. 41850380)
