About the job

Take the next step in your career and become part of a well-functioning team where you receive a strong professional mandate to bring your specialist psychology competencies into play.

The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic Hillerød is looking for an engaged clinical psychologist in psychiatry for one of the ambulatories four F-ACT teams. The position is aimed at you who want to take on a central psychological professional role and apply your specialized competencies in working with complex psychiatric problems. You are motivated to take independent clinical responsibility and contribute actively to multidisciplinary treatment planning, professional sparring and the continued development of F-ACT's treatment offering.

About the department

The Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic Hillerød offers flexible, needs-based and outreach treatment based on the F-ACT model (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment). The multidisciplinary treatment offering is provided to patients with a need for hospital-based psychiatric treatment.

In the outpatient we work with a broad spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses, including psychotic disorders, affective disorders, PTSD and personality disorders. In addition we treat patients with non-psychotic disorders and low functioning.

The position is attached to one of the four F-ACT teams. The outpatient is multidisciplinary and consists of specialists, H-physicians, clinical psychologists, typically 2-3 SPUs, nurses, social worker and a recovery mentor. You will, in addition to exchanging experiences with the whole team, have a close collaboration and sparring partner in the team’s experienced senior physician.

In daily work you report to the department management and the SP, while staff and professional leadership are handled by the center's chief psychologist.

The outpatient is characterised by a strong development focus. As a clinical psychologist you will have the opportunity to become an active part of the development and improvement projects that are continuously initiated. Currently we are working on implementing treatment pathways for patients with non-psychotic disorders based on cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.

Your role

As a clinical psychologist you are expected to contribute with highly specialized psychological knowledge and function as a professional sparring partner in the team.

At the department we emphasize flexible frameworks around the distribution of work tasks based on the wishes and competencies of the individual clinicians. You will thus also have influence over your assignments.

As a clinical psychologist the following tasks will be part of your portfolio

  • Initial assessments
  • Psychopathological assessment and psychological testing
  • Therapeutic programs
  • Treatment planning and participation in conferences
  • Teaching and dissemination tasks
  • Development and improvement tasks
  • Cross-cutting tasks at the center, including debriefing, crisis talks, guidance and supervision

  • Works independently and naturally participates in multidisciplinary contexts
  • Has strong relational and communication skills
  • Is able to set professional direction and stand out clearly when the situation calls for it
  • Meets patients and colleagues with openness, presence and engagement

We offer

  • A strong professional environment with about 38 psychologists (clinical psychologists, specialists, clinical psychologists and SPUs) across the center
  • An organization where clinical quality and professional development are highly prioritized
  • Dedicated and experienced colleagues with high professionalism
  • Strong cross-disciplinary collaboration that is respectful
  • Opportunity to participate in development projects
  • Autonomy in treatment planning
  • A varied and diverse portfolio of tasks
  • Supervision forums and supervision/guidance tasks
  • Participation in professional group meetings and relevant courses and continuing education
  • Management focus on good cross-disciplinary collaboration at the center level
  • An appointment with a high degree of flexibility and freedom to shape the treatment yourself
  • Exciting and varied clinical tasks with a broad patient group and large variation in task types
  • An outpatient department that looks forward to strengthening our psychology profile with a clinical psychologist who will leave their professional mark on both clinical practice and the continued development of the outpatient clinic.
