C#/.NET developer for Energi Fyn – help develop our Azure platform

We are in the midst of a digital transformation, where we are developing our technological foundation to support sustainable energy solutions now and in the future. Here you will have a central role in the continued development of our Azure-based platform and the solutions built on it.

You will become part of IT Development & Projects, where you, together with your colleagues, develop robust, data-driven and scalable solutions that can be integrated with both existing and future systems. You will also have room for independence and professional immersion, while sparring and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. Our architect and Lead Developer will be among your close professional sparring partners.

Your tasks include, among others

• Dialog with requirements givers about needs and requirements
• Participation in architecture and solution design in collaboration with our architect and Lead Developer
• Development and implementation of solutions based on .NET
• Development of APIs and integrations, primarily on the Azure platform
• Use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot in development work combined with critical review of the generated code
• Ensuring high code quality through code review, testing and professional sparring
• Maintenance and improvement of the solutions (DevOps)
• Testing, deployment and release
• Monitoring and optimization of self-developed solutions
• Preparation of documentation and guides
• Continuously updating with technological development
• Contribution to principles, standards and methodologies for software development, including responsible use of AI

Are you our new developer? You have a relevant IT education at a minimum data- and/or computer science level and experience with software development. We imagine that you have been in the field for a few years or have longer experience. The most important thing is, however, that you have a solid foundation in C# and .NET.

As a person, you work in a structured way and take responsibility for the quality of your solutions. You think long-term and are interested in good craftsmanship in code, but also understand that solutions must work in practice. You are curious about new technologies, including AI-assisted development, and thrive from collaborating with both technical colleagues and the business side.

We expect that you have

• Experience with C# and .NET

It is advantageous if you also have experience with one or more of the following

• Development with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Copilot Agent Mode or similar
• Microservice architecture
• Integration architecture, including APIs, API Management, Service Bus and data formats
• CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (Bicep)
• Azure DevOps
• Development on the Azure platform

You do not need to have experience with it all from the start. You will receive professional sparring from experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to strengthen your competencies through relevant courses and certifications, e.g. in Azure.
