At TEFCOLD, AI and automation are already part of the work to develop the business. There are many opportunities and a wide range of projects where new technologies can streamline and make processes more efficient.

Therefore TEFCOLD is expanding its internal development and automation team with a Software Engineer who wants to work with AI, LLMs and modern software development.

You will have the opportunity to experiment with new AI tools, develop your own solutions and help shape how the technology is used across an international company.

From AI possibilities to solutions that are used

TEFCOLD works purposefully to optimize workflows across the group. This includes sales, procurement, logistics and handling of product data, where AI and automation can free up time and improve existing processes.

As a Software Engineer you will be part of the work of identifying opportunities and translating them into concrete solutions. Some tasks will require traditional software development and integrations, while others will involve applying AI models, developing automated workflows or exploring how new technologies can solve a business problem.

You will among other things

· Develop AI-based solutions and automations for different parts of the business.

· Work with LLMs, AI APIs and prompt engineering as part of the development work.

· Experiment with new AI tools and assess where they make sense to apply.

· Develop software, integrations and workflows across systems and data sources.

· Drive your own projects from idea and needs assessment to implementation.

· Collaborate with colleagues in Denmark and international subsidiaries to improve workflows.

You will become part of a small team, which today consists of a manager responsible for AI and automation and a software developer. You will spar closely about technologies and solutions, but you also get freedom to take responsibility for your own projects and explore new possibilities.

Your professional profile

You have a background in software development and a particular interest in AI and automation. Perhaps you already work with AI in your current job, or perhaps you have spent part of your free time experimenting with LLMs, AI agents and new development tools.

The most important thing is that you have both the technical understanding to build solutions and the curiosity to explore how AI can be used in practice.

We imagine that you

· Have practical experience with software development and can translate ideas into functioning solutions.

· Have an interest in and preferably experience with AI, LLMs, prompt engineering or AI-based workflows.

· Have an understanding of APIs, integrations and working with data.

· Can take independent responsibility for development tasks and collaborate with colleagues without a technical background.

TEFCOLD works among other things with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript (modern frameworks, e.g. Next.js), GitHub and related CI/CD. If you have experience with some of these technologies, that is an advantage. Knowledge of MCP, AI APIs and integration of LLMs into software solutions will also be relevant.

You do not need to be an expert in all technologies. On the other hand, you must be keen to learn new possibilities, test different approaches and develop solutions that work outside your own development environment.

Your educational background and the number of years on your CV are less important than your technical skills, your curiosity and your ability to get things done.

The team has already established a data platform, integrations and development processes, so you have a technical foundation to build on.

There are many projects in play, and priorities can change along the way. Therefore you will thrive best if you can work independently, are curious about the business and do not need all tasks defined in advance.
