Job Description

Do you want to help create and produce journalism and communication for Denmark's best women's site?

Are you passionate about writing about the topics that shape women's lives and set the agenda, including feminist economics and equality in healthcare?

Then you should apply for an internship at Woman.dk.

Woman.dk is a current, digital women's magazine aimed at women aged 25-50, focusing on everything that matters to women's everyday life, finances and health.

We take a close look at the challenges, opportunities and experiences that many women meet throughout life. Our ambition is to create journalism that informs, inspires and feels relevant.

We believe the best stories start from reality. Therefore we listen to our readers and give a voice to women from across the country who share experiences, challenges and triumphs that other women can relate to.

We also enthusiastically cover new TV series and the latest trends and hacks in home and beauty, as Bolig Magasinet, Magasinet Liv and Costume are also part of Woman.dk.

At the same time, we are happy to show who stands behind the articles, so as a journalist with us you also take an active role in dialogue with users, e.g. in the form of columns and videos.

We are looking for a Communications Intern who is eager and willing to be part of the development of this.

The internship runs from February 1, 2027 to July 31, 2027 (37 hours/week) including 2.5 weeks of vacation and time for study days and exam writing. The internship is unpaid and must be part of your educational program.

With us you become an important part of the editorial team, where we hold editorial meetings several times a week. We always listen to all ideas, and there will be great opportunities to also see your own ideas through to completion.

Your tasks will include

  • Write stories relevant to women's everyday lives, so you gain experience in sharpening a story or a message for the target audience.
  • Newsletters, an important and direct channel to reach our users, communicate with them and keep them engaged. Here you will strengthen your planning skills and gain experience using analytics tools.
  • Social media, create visually engaging content, including images and videos and stories tailored to the different platforms.
  • Are you into video? Then there is plenty of opportunity to try your hand at filming, editing and being on screen.
  • SEO, you can also gain experience with, and our SEO editor can help you become sharp at search engine optimization.

You should expect to be thrown into the tasks, but we are of course always ready to catch you and provide personal coaching and feedback on your stories, ideas, challenges and successes.

At Woman.dk we focus on your learning plan, and during your program you will receive a mentor who you can use for everything from sparring, feedback to practical questions.

Here you can see a sample of some of the articles that our previous communications intern Yasmin has written.

You will become part of an ambitious and dynamic editorial team of around 10 people, including many young colleagues who always have fun together – even when we are busy.

We place a high value on the social aspect and a good working environment, and there is always room to share both professional and private ups and downs over a coffee or a Friday beer.

Application deadline: As soon as possible - we process applications on an ongoing basis and conclude the recruitment when we have found the right candidate.
