Would you like to make a concrete difference for another person and at the same time have a flexible part-time job?

We are looking for an accompanying person for a citizen in Græsted. As an escort your main task is to support the citizen in participating in self-chosen activities outside the home and thereby contribute to an active and independent life.

About the citizen

The citizen is a 31-year-old woman.

She is able to express her own wishes and needs within her circumstances. She needs help to oversee, plan and structure. She needs support to strengthen her ability to participate and have influence on her own life. In that, she needs security and stability.

A typical accompaniment can include visits to the cinema, theatre, cafe visits, Tivoli at Christmas and Halloween, the swimming pool, porcelain painting, walks on the beach or in the forest, and trips to Bakken.

She is interested in cozy company, cultural experiences and activities outside the home. In addition, the citizen values new experiences and going around to different places.

She values a companion who is calm, patient, stable and approachable. The accompaniment is planned in collaboration with the citizen and will typically take place on weekends. Therefore, a companion with a certain flexibility regarding times and activities is desired. It is important that you can create safe environments and at the same time contribute to good experiences and an active leisure life.

Tasks

The accompaniment can include, among other things

• Walking and excursions
• Cafe and culture visits
• Social activities

The activities are agreed with the citizen on an ongoing basis.

• Is reliable and responsible
• Is good at creating safe relationships
• Respects the citizen's wishes and self-determination
• Wants to support a person towards an active leisure life
• It is a requirement that you have a pedagogical background.

Working hours

The position is 10 hours per month .

The hours are planned in collaboration with the citizen and will typically be on weekends.

• Ongoing support and sparring from LOBPA
• The position is part-time and paid according to the applicable collective agreement
• The citizen covers all expenses related to the accompaniment
• The employment is through LOBPA in accordance with the National Agreement for Handicap Assistance in the citizen's own home (FOA and Dansk Erhverv)
