Greve Municipality seeks companions for citizens with reduced functional capacity who have been granted an escort arrangement under the Social Services Act §97

We are seeking mature, stable people who have a good mood and a good physical condition, for example to be able to push a wheelchair, assist the citizen while walking, etc. There will be no heavy lifting or personal care.

As a companion you are employed for 15 hours per month, typically distributed over about 3.5 hours per week. The citizen and the companion agree further how the hours should be distributed and a fixed weekly number of hours cannot therefore be guaranteed. The citizen has the opportunity to save hours for longer activities.

There is an opportunity to be a companion for several citizens.

We are currently seeking companions for the following citizens

Woman, 37 years old, lives in a residential facility in Brøndby, with developmental disability, desires among other things companionship to Wellness, Bakken, Rødovrecentret, Christmas market, walks, bus rides, shopping, ZOO, restaurant visits, purchase of Christmas gifts. There is primarily a need for companionship on weekends, when the citizen has the most energy. Seeks a peer companion.

Woman, 73 years old, lives in Greve, hearing impaired, uses a walker/wheelchair, desires among other things companionship to museum visits, shopping, ZOO, Tivoli, mini hotel/inn stay, concert, theatre musical, Christmas exhibitions. It is a strong wish that the companion can communicate via sign language, or at least with clear and distinct facial expressions. Preferably a woman aged 40 – 60 years

Salary according to the applicable collective agreement. Allowances are provided for weekend work
