Companion wanted for a young man in Fredensborg

Do you want to make a concrete difference for another person while also getting a flexible part-time job?

We are seeking a companion for a citizen in Fredensborg. As a companion, your main task is to support the citizen in participating in self-chosen activities outside the home and thus contribute to an active and independent life.

About the citizen

The citizen is a young man in need of social-pedagogical support in connection with activities outside the home.

He thrives on fixed routines, recognizability, and a calm approach. The citizen needs support with planning, structure, transportation and participation in activities, as well as creating safe frameworks around experiences outside the home.

The citizen is social, humorous and enjoys mischief. He has a twinkle in his eye and likes to tease, so it is an advantage if you have a sense of humor and can handle a bit of cheek and play with a smile.

The citizen has, among other things, an interest in hard rock music, concerts and cultural events. He also enjoys cinema trips, theatre performances, museum visits and spontaneous outings "out into the blue." A good experience combined with a meal is often a big hit.

The citizen values a companion who is calm, patient, stable, has humor and is good at creating security in the company.

Tasks

The companionship can include, among other things

• Walking and excursions
• Café and restaurant visits
• Cinema trips
• Theatre and museum visits
• Concerts and music events, especially within rock music
• Social activities
• Support with transport to and from activities

Activities are agreed with the citizen on an ongoing basis.

About you

· Is reliable and responsible

· Is good at creating safe relationships

· Respects the citizen's wishes and self-determination

· Wants to support a person in an active leisure life

· Can work independently and maintain calm and overview

It is not a requirement that you have a specific education or experience. The most important thing is that you are interested in the task and want to create positive experiences together with the citizen.

Working hours

The position is about 5 hours per month.

The hours are planned in collaboration with the citizen and can take place on both weekdays and weekends.

· Ongoing support and sparring from LOBPA

· The position is part-time and remunerated according to the applicable collective agreement

· The citizen covers all expenses related to the companionship

· Employment is through LOBPA in accordance with the National Agreement for handicap assistance in the citizen's own home (FOA and Dansk Erhverv)
