Competent cross-disciplinary nurse in charge / Social and Health Care Assistant wanted at Bernadottegården

As our cross-coverage evening Social and Health Care Assistant has chosen to seek new challenges, we are looking for a nurse/ Social and Health Care Assistant for 28 hours/week on 7-7 shifts, with weekend duty every other weekend from 1.1.2027.

Bernadottegården - a little about the place Bernadottegården consists of a care home with a total of 57 residents distributed across 3 houses, with 19 residents per house. We have a respite place where residents from outside are usually discharged with a rehabilitation plan until their housing situation and care needs are clarified.

We also have a senior college where residents from outside come and participate in activities during the day.

At Bernadottegården we are very focused on ensuring that residents experience Bernadottegården as a safe and good place to live. It is the resident’s home, and here there should be a homely atmosphere. The path to a good and secure home is built on components, where we base ourselves on the resident’s wishes and needs guiding all care and nursing.

The vacant position - a little about the job content The residents need your nursing competencies, supervision, assessments and care in the evening when darkness and calm fall. Therefore we need you in particular.

You should expect to be part of teams in the evening, where holistic care will be a part of the work around the residents in addition to the nursing actions.

We focus on involving the resident and their relatives in their life here at Bernadottegården, to great joy and benefit for the individual. Relatives are, for us, an indispensable resource and a key partner in our daily work – also in the evenings.

We work person-centered in our pedagogical approach with involvement of Marta Meo theory’s 13 elements, which are also reflected in our multidisciplinary resident conferences held every week.

We place a high value on cross-professional collaboration and within the organization, to continuously develop Bernadottegården for the benefit of the residents.

In the evening you will work closely with the five Social and Health Care Assistants and a Social and Health Care Assistant who is on call, who can also support the nursing tasks.

Also in Roskilde we have an Emergency Team and home care nurses you can contact if you need sparring during your shift.

• Have the courage to accept changes as part of everyday life – so you should be able to participate in changes with a positive mindset.
• Can lead and support a high level of professionalism together with your other colleagues.
• Can maintain overview and calm in an acute situation while you act.
• Ask for help when the task solution is unclear.
• Are strong in medication handling.
• Have knowledge of KMD Nexus, or are willing to learn it, as it is a requirement to document nursing actions.
• Good at collaborating with residents, relatives and your colleagues.
