Construction structure apprentice sought for Park and Road, Lolland Municipality

We are looking for an engaged and motivated construction structures apprentice who wants an exciting education with a good mix of practical work and professional development.

As an apprentice with us you become part of a strong professional environment, where you work together with experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to develop your skills within the construction and utilities field.

About the training

As a construction structures apprentice you will join our daily work with operation, maintenance and establishment of municipal facilities. The training alternates between practical training and school sessions, where you gain both theoretical and practical experience.

You will among other things gain experience with

• Construction and maintenance of roads, paths and sidewalks
• Establishment and renovation of sewer and stormwater systems
• Paving work with asphalt, tiles and curb stones
• Earthworks, drainage and excavation
• Operation and maintenance of municipal facilities and infrastructure

Who are we

Park and Road is part of the Property and Facilities sector in Lolland Municipality. The sector carries out tasks within property management, construction management, harbour, ferry and airport operations. With us you will have about 90 colleagues in Park and Road and an additional 110–120 colleagues in the sector.

Park and Road is responsible for operation and maintenance of the municipality’s roads, facilities and green areas. We work every day across disciplines to ensure well-functioning infrastructure, maintain green spaces and create safe surroundings and frameworks for citizens and business life. We fill potholes in the asphalt, ensure street lighting works, cut grass and prune trees and ensure that the green areas look inviting and ready for use.

We are a modern contracting company, which among other things manages 750 ha of area distributed as:

• 133 hectares of grass
• Over 1,000 km of watercourses
• 1,425 km of roads
• Approximately 25,000 signs
• Parks, ball courts, sidewalks and new facilities
• Ensures mobility with winter maintenance

Salary and terms of employment

Date of employment: 1 January 2027, preferably earlier.

The salary for our apprentices is based on a 37-hour workweek. In addition, pension at 15.22% and a flexible contribution are offered.

Your salary as an apprentice under the specialized worker agreement is as follows

• Apprentice: DKK 21,691.25 per month. Apprentices who are 21 years or older are covered by pension after 3 months of employment (15.22%).
• Adult apprentice: DKK 26,160.39 – is covered by pension after 3 months of employment (15.22%).

From 1 April 2027 all apprentices receive pension from the start of employment - if they are 18 years old.

The final salary is determined based on the applicable collective agreement, qualifications and the principles of local pay formation.
