At DSV Road Control Tower in Horsens we are seeking a Contract Manager who can navigate at operational, tactical and strategic levels. One who thrives in the crossroads between client responsibility, operations, stakeholder management, business development and supply chain optimization. You will have independent responsibility for your own client portfolio or be part of a dedicated client team, where you have a strong influence on both solutions and results. Your task as Contract Manager

As Contract Manager you will be the customer's primary sparring partner and responsible for ensuring, developing and optimizing the transport and logistics solutions we deliver. You follow the customer from solution design and implementation to ongoing operations and strategic development of their overall supply chain. It requires that you take ownership, create momentum and get internal and external stakeholders to work in the same direction.

Your primary responsibilities will be to

• Drive and develop relationships with larger national and international customers
• Prepare proposals, handle tenders and participate in contract negotiations
• Implement new transport and logistics solutions for existing customers
• Identify and implement optimization initiatives across the supply chain that create value for both the customer and DSV
• Ensure follow-up on KPIs and delivery quality
• Manage deviations and drive problem solving across the transport chain
• Contribute actively to solution design and development of customers' supply chain setup
• Collaborate closely with DSV’s market departments and other divisions in Denmark and Europe

Part of DSV Road Control Tower

The Control Tower department in Horsens acts as a central hub for complex national and international transport- and logistics solutions. We work according to the One-Stop-Shopping principle, where we consolidate all the customer’s needs into one integrated solution. Through close collaboration with DSV Road, Air & Sea and Contract Logistics, we provide our customers access to DSV’s global network, capacity and specialized competencies. The result is efficient and transparent solutions that create value for the customer and are continuously optimized in line with their business.

Your base will be the office in Horsens, but the role also entails meetings with customers, suppliers and colleagues both in Denmark and internationally.

You naturally take ownership and drive tasks and projects forward. You are strong in dialogue with both customers and internal stakeholders and can build support for solutions – even when interests differ. At the same time you combine commercial understanding with an analytical mind and thrive in a day-to-day environment with change, high tempo and complex problems.

We imagine that you

• Are educated as a freight forwarder or have equivalent relevant experience within transport, logistics or supply chain
• Have experience with customer responsibility and stakeholder management and can create momentum across the organization
• Have a commercial mindset and can see and convey the value of solutions for both the customer and DSV
• Work analytically and structured and can translate rates, KPIs and other data into a solid basis for decision-making
• Can move between operational details and tactical and strategic perspectives
• Are interested in process optimization, IT and business development
• Maintain an overview in a dynamic everyday life and navigate constructively changes and different stakeholders’ needs
• Communicate professionally in Danish and English, both written and spoken
