Do you want to use your strong purchasing and negotiation profile to ensure the right balance between professional quality and financial responsibility?

Do you have an eye for commercial agreements, and are you passionate about ensuring that the citizen's needs are always the natural focal point?

At the Center for Disability and Psychiatry (Authority and Access) we are seeking a professionally strong and committed contract negotiator. Our strategic focus is financial sustainability, where we manage municipal resources with high professional standards, transparency and respect for each citizen's life situation.

About the position

As a contract negotiator you will play a key role in bridging the social welfare efforts and the financial/contractual foundation. You will be a central driving force in further developing our negotiation practices with both private and public suppliers, so price, quality and the citizen's support needs are naturally aligned.

You will be part of a close and cross-disciplinary collaboration with our advisers, professional coordinators, economists and a lawyer.

Your main tasks

  • Negotiation & agreements: Conduct structured and professionally grounded negotiations and renegotiations with suppliers in concrete citizen cases.
  • Contract management & quality: Prepare, quality assure and follow up on contracts and supplier agreements so that they are legally and financially sustainable.
  • Advisory sparring: Make our social workers look good by arming them with sharp negotiation briefs and professional-economic clarification before matching.
  • Strategic procurement & analysis: Contribute with market knowledge, tariff calculation models and financial analyses that ensure transparency in the actual cost price and effect of the initiatives.
  • Supplier dialogue: Build and maintain professional and constructive relationships with our partners.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a profile with a strong commercial instinct who thrives on negotiating – preferably with knowledge of the public framework or the social sector.

We imagine that you have

  • A relevant educational background in procurement, negotiation, contract law, economics or administration – for example, a degree in public procurement (e.g., from COK/Association of Municipalities), Procurement/Supply Chain Management, Cand.merc.(jur.), marketing economics, commercial education with a specialization in procurement or equivalent experience from the public or private sector.
  • Experience with negotiation, contract formation and contract management.
  • Strong analytical abilities and good numeracy – you quickly understand tariff structures, budgets and pricing.
  • Strong communication skills and a diplomatic negotiation style that creates long-term and sustainable solutions.
  • Understanding of (or a strong desire to learn about) the specialized adult area, the Social Services Act and the framework for municipal authority.
  • A structured and solution-oriented approach to tasks, also when there are many balls in the air.

We offer

  • An exciting and central role with great influence on the development of our procurement and negotiation function.
  • A professionally strong, engaged and informal work environment where sparring and good humor are a regular part of daily life.
  • A thorough introduction and onboarding in close collaboration with management and the professional coordinators.
  • Flexible framework and good opportunities for skills development.

The practical

The position is a permanent full-time role of 37 hours per week with start on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is anchored in Authority, where you report to the team leader.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of Local Pay Formation after agreement with the negotiating party organization.
