At Sekura Cabins we are looking for a purchaser who wants to become part of our Supply Chain team. You will have a daily routine close to both suppliers, production and the rest of the organization, where you will be responsible for your own suppliers, tasks and at the same time have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues.

You don't need many years of experience. The most important is that you have a solid foundation in procurement or Supply Chain, are curious, take responsibility and want to develop yourself.

About the job

You will join our Supply Chain team consisting of a total of four senior purchasers and buyers and report to our Senior Manager, SCM.

Your primary focus will be operational procurement and the daily contact with our suppliers. An important part of the job is to follow up on deliveries and ensure that the right goods are available on time so that production can run as planned.

You will also work with selected suppliers and categories, where you will have the opportunity to prepare and participate in negotiations. In addition, you will get in touch with our freight forwarders and become an important partner across the organization.

Everyday is varied, and some days are fast-paced. Therefore it is important that you can create an overview, follow your tasks through to completion and stay calm when several things need to be solved at the same time.

Your tasks will include

• Maintain daily contact with and follow up on suppliers
• Process purchase proposals and issue purchase orders
• Follow up on order confirmations, delivery times and deadlines
• Check prices and invoices
• Coordinate and allocate goods for production
• Work on optimizing inventory levels based on forecast
• Book collections and coordinate with our freight forwarders
• Collaborate and follow up across the organization
• Update and maintain master data in our ERP system

Who are you?

We envisage that you have some experience in purchasing, planning or Supply Chain, and now would like to take the next step and develop further.

You may also have a relevant education in e.g. Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Logistics combined with practical experience.

As a person you are structured and detail-oriented, but also good at communicating and building relationships. You thrive with a wide span of contact and are not afraid to pick up the phone, follow up and make things happen.

We also place emphasis on that you

• Communicate well in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Preferably have knowledge of German
• Are familiar with Microsoft 365 and especially Excel
• Preferably have experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Take responsibility for your tasks and follow them through to completion
