Controller / financial sparring partner

At Murersvendenes Finans A/S we are seeking an experienced finance professional who is motivated by creating insight, overview and value through strong financial management and close sparring with the business. The position is newly created, and you will therefore have the opportunity to leave your professional mark on the role and help further develop our reporting, processes and financial management.

A central role close to the business You will become part of the finance function at our head office in Glostrup and gain broad contact across the group.

You report to the CFO and work closely with the head of accounting and the rest of the finance department. At the same time you will have close collaboration with project managers, department heads, the ESG function, the real estate area, management and our external auditors.

Your role ranges from project and financial controlling to analyses, forecasting, reporting and development of new solutions. You will get very close to operations and have the opportunity to translate financial data into concrete sparring and action.

Your main duties

• Sparring on and follow-up of ongoing works in the construction companies
• Analysis of project economics, profitability, productivity, liquidity and risks
• Preparation of monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts
• Participation in monthly and year-end close and accounting preparation
• Sparring with project managers and department heads on finance and performance
• Collaboration with the ESG function on reporting and data quality assurance
• Participation in audit processes and ongoing dialogue with external auditors
• Development of management reporting, BI solutions and financial dashboards
• Optimization and digitalization of financial processes related to case economy in close collaboration with the head of accounting
• Cross-functional analyses and development projects across the group

Who are you? You have a solid financial background and several years of experience with financial sparring, controlling, reporting and accounting.

You may currently work as Finance Business Partner, Business Controller, Financial Controller or auditor and want a role where you come closer to the business and have the opportunity to follow your analyses all the way from numbers to decisions and action.

Experience from contractor, construction or other project-oriented companies is a clear advantage. The most important thing is, however, that you are curious about the business behind the numbers and can build good relationships and trust across the organization.
