About the job

Do you want to use your understanding of digital systems, data and operations to make hospital maintenance more systematic and efficient?

Center for Properties, Operations and Construction, is looking for a coordinator for digital maintenance who can strengthen the use of Dalux FM, Dalux Field and Dalux Handover and help implement common standards for especially preventive maintenance.

You will have a central role in the work to ensure professional and systematic maintenance of hospital technical installations and building stock. You will be the link between technicians, professional leaders, construction projects, the central coordinator for digital maintenance and the cross-cutting Dalux FM system and data.

Center for Properties, Operations and Construction is responsible for operations and maintenance of technical systems and buildings at the hospitals in the Capital Region of Denmark. Large parts of the hospitals constitute critical infrastructure where there is a need for stable operation around the clock, year-round.

You will become part of Operations and Construction, which covers both Hvidovre Hospital and Amager Hospital. Your permanent base is Hvidovre Hospital, but the position also involves meetings and collaboration at Amager Hospital, weekly meetings in CEJ House and occasional travel to the other hospitals in the Capital Region of Denmark.

About the role

At the Center for Properties we use Dalux FM and Dalux Field to structure information and collaborate on technical operation and maintenance of 2.1 million m² of buildings and technical installations at the hospitals. The system is used by Operations and Technical Services at all hospitals in the Capital Region and is used to handle more than 15,000 tasks per month.

As the coordinator for digital maintenance you will have a role with both professional weight and practical significance. You will work with digital solutions used in the daily operation of hospitals that must function 24/7. You help create overview, strengthen data quality and assist professional groups in using the systems correctly in daily practice.

You will also become part of the coordinator team for digital maintenance. It is a cross-cutting team where coordinators from the hospitals share knowledge, exchange ideas and work on common solutions across Center for Properties.

Your responsibilities

You will hold a coordinating role reporting to the deputy property manager. The position focuses on development, system support and the implementation of uniform standards and workflows in Dalux FM and Dalux Field with particular focus on preventive maintenance and construction projects performed using Dalux.

You will primarily work with implementation and standards. This means you must implement and maintain common structures, standards and workflows in Dalux FM and Dalux Field. You must also support CEJ’s strategy for preventive maintenance through local strategies and plans as well as follow-up analyses and reporting to management. In addition, you will participate in the implementation of new features in Dalux FM and Dalux Field.

You will also work with data and documentation. You must support correct registration of assets, technical installations and building components. You must clean, update and quality assure data such as assets, work descriptions and task series. You must also support workflows and setups that ensure documentation in connection with legally required tasks, for example when performed by external suppliers.

An important part of the role is collaboration, support and handover from construction to operation. You will become a central hub when handing over D&V materials and data from construction projects to operations, from Dalux Field to Dalux Handover and further to Dalux FM. You will act as a superuser and help local users through support, training and guidance. You will also participate in cross-cutting collaboration forums and work closely with the Dalux FM system and data on common priorities and development.

Your profile

You may have a technical designer, technical assistant or similar educational background. However, your formal education is not decisive. We place greater weight on your experience, your ability to prioritize and create overview and your interest in IT, data and digital workflows.

We expect you to have several years of experience with the use or implementation of IT systems with many users. You also have experience with project work and coordinating roles.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of building operation and maintenance, but it is not a prerequisite.

We emphasize that you

  • Have an interest in IT, data, systematics and digital workflows.
  • Can create overview, prioritize and follow up.
  • Thrive in a large and complex organization with many professional disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Can stay on track, even when everyday tasks and shifting priorities arise.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Can make digital workflows understandable for others.
  • Work loyally within decided frames and contribute to common solutions.
  • Are motivated by tasks with clear societal value.
  • Approach the workday with enthusiasm, good humor and a positive attitude to collaboration.
  • Combine a holistic perspective with a careful and detail-oriented approach when the task requires it.

Why choose us?

With us you get a role where your efforts can be felt in the daily operation of the hospitals. When data is correct, workflows work, and the systems are used correctly, you help create better conditions for the technical operation, for the professional groups’ work and ultimately for patients, relatives and clinical staff.

You will have the opportunity to use and develop your skills within FM systems, implementation, operational optimization, data analysis, change management and collaboration.

You will become part of a professional environment where you work closely with both local colleagues and cross-functional functions. You will have responsibility within clear boundaries and become an important player in developing digital maintenance across Center for Properties.
