UCE is seeking a coordinator for the Elevhotellet as of January 1, 2027

Elevhotellet is part of UddannelsesCenter Sydøstdanmark and is located at Kringelborg Allé in Nykøbing Falster. Here, young people from our vocational educations live in a community with safety, an active daily life and good social frameworks. About the position

We are seeking an educational coordinator who will help develop a safe, vibrant and inclusive place for young people under vocational training.

Elevhotellet has 166 places spread over 92 rooms and is the students' home during the school terms. Here you will have the opportunity to use your pedagogical expertise in an environment where relationships, community and social development are central.

Your tasks

Your daily work will include both planning, practical tasks and presence. You plan activities such as communal cooking, games, sports or creative projects. And you are a present adult whom the students can talk to or seek support from.

Your qualifications

• You are educated as a pedagogue or have solid experience from a boarding school, school residence, youth housing or similar environments.
• You build good relations with young people and meet them with warmth, clarity and respect.
• You take initiative, keep an overview and are present and flexible when needs change.
• You believe in the value of community and actively work so that everyone feels welcome and can participate.
• You thrive with work hours that also include afternoons, evenings and occasional sleeping night shifts.

Working hours

The position is 37 hours per week and includes day, evening and night work. You are on duty when the students are free, and also have some sleeping night shifts. The working hours follow life at Elevhotellet, where community and adult contact are also important in the evenings and at night. The position may also include other pedagogical tasks at the school.

Conditions of employment
