Create safe nights for a girl in Søborg – SSA wanted for 30 hours per week

You will have a central role in a respiratory arrangement with nightly mask treatment, where relationships and professional quality go hand in hand.

In Søborg there lives a really sweet girl of 8 years old who has a rare form of muscular dystrophy.

This means she sleeps with a mask at night and has an SSA who sits and watches to ensure everything goes as it should.

It is a lovely peaceful job, where you ensure that the girl lies correctly in relation to her treatment and where you also perform some other respiratory tasks on the girl while she is awake.

Additionally, tube nutrition is given by bolus at night as well.

The girl lives with her two parents and younger sister in a really nice apartment in Søborg, and here you start at 19:00 and handle equipment as well as perform respiratory care before the girl goes to bed. When she goes to bed, the mask is applied and then you must ensure free airways using positioning and suctioning during the night.

Since this is a sedentary job in someone else’s home, it is expected that you thrive in your own company and can entertain yourself with sedentary activities during the night (including Netflix, knitting, study, or whatever you find exciting, as long as you are awake).

What does the job involve?

• Awake night shifts (12 hours, 19-07)
• To help create security and well-being
• To provide tube feeding
• Correct documentation regarding tube feeding and the respiratory
• Respiratory support and treatment

The position is 30 hours per week and can possibly be combined with another team located just around the corner to achieve 36 hours.

But since it is also expected that you are flexible during illness and holidays, 30 hours is usually a good place to start. Let’s have a dialog.
