About the job

Are you motivated by working with case processing, and do you like customer contact? Do you have experience with – or an interest in trying your hand at – reviewing assessments? Then you might be our new colleague who will help us deliver high-quality products in the Citizens department of the Tax Administration.

Case processing – reviewing assessments

The Tax Administration receives annually about 6,500 complaints about, among other things, the black economy from citizens, businesses, police and other authorities. The complaints concern e.g. companies that are not registered, execution of black work, missing or incorrect information about VAT and company results, etc. As an employee you will be part of a team that works with reviewing (identification, journaling and GDPR-compliant orientation) as well as processing and assessing the complaints. It can be detective work that makes the task especially exciting.

Independent and curious profile with good communication skills

We imagine that you have an education such as e.g. tax auditor, diploma/professional bachelor in tax, cand.jur. or other education. In addition it would be advantageous if you have practical experience in case processing.

In relation to the unit's tasks you will solve the tasks both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues, and you will have a large contact and collaboration interface with many stakeholders across the Tax Administration.

To thrive and succeed in the position we emphasize that you

  • Are motivated to work both with administrative tasks and to find solutions in complex problem situations
  • Are independent, initiative-taking, results-oriented and thorough in your task execution
  • Have good collaboration skills and are a team player who values close and constructive collaboration
  • Are friendly, have professional conduct and at the same time personal and professional impact, so you can professionally handle all situations
  • Are accustomed to using IT in your work, and you are generally good at getting to know new IT systems

Citizens 9 - Control - your new workplace

Citizens 9 - Control is part of the Department Citizens, which is one of six specialized departments in the Personal Tax area in the Tax Administration. The department employs about 190 employees.

The Citizens department contributes to ensuring a correct and smooth collection of personal taxes to fund the public sector. The department's main tasks are: Case processing in connection with preliminary and annual tax returns, reconsiderations of annual tax returns and control of these tasks as well as of the black economy.

Citizens 9 - Control is housed in Port House Fredericia, and deals with tasks within the black economy, including complaints and access to information.

The unit currently consists of 25 employees. We have a good working environment with skilled and engaged colleagues with an informal, open and humorous tone.

It is important that you have a good mood and a positive attitude both toward the task and your colleagues, and that you are open to new challenges and approach the tasks with enthusiasm and strong engagement.
