In the Ministry of Defence's Accounting Agency we are approx. 250 employees, of which the Travel Section consists of 40 employees distributed in smaller teams. We are responsible for the entire travel process in the Ministry of Defence's group.

The Defence is undergoing major development, which also affects us in the Travel Section, therefore we are currently seeking new colleagues to join our team.

About the positions

As travel booker you will be an important part of our large workplace, where you will have daily contact with your 40 new colleagues in the Travel Section. You will also have the opportunity to participate in exchanges within other areas of work; we place a very high value on skills development and broad applicability.

Your primary tasks as travel booker are to service the Defence's employees when they travel on official trips around the world. In general, the position includes the following tasks:

• Booking of flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.
• Answering calls from travelers
• Handling of the hotline

About you

We imagine that you have an office-related education with experience from the travel industry, as it is a prerequisite for the position that you have experience with booking in Amadeus.

You master Danish and English in both writing and speaking.

Your dedication, solution-oriented approach and strong service-minded attitude make you a valuable colleague. You thrive in an initiative-taking environment where development happens constantly, and you are able to stay calm even in busy periods.

Employment terms

The employment is governed by the current collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector OAO-S collective agreement) and the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT employees.

Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is an opportunity for negotiating allowances. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is in Hjørring.

As an employee under the Ministry of Defence's area you are subject to certain special conditions. You must, among other things, be able to undergo security clearance and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

As an employee you are obliged to perform service outside the country's borders, including at units in international operations with the aim of participating in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.
