The role

Your first main task will be to drive the D365 implementation from planning to rollout and anchoring in the organization. You will become the central link between management, finance, other business areas, IT and external partners.

You will need to create an overview, ensure progress and ensure that the company’s needs are translated into a well-functioning solution. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to bring your financial expertise into play and contribute to the development of the company’s financial processes and reporting.

In time, you are expected to take on broader responsibility in the finance department with the possibility of becoming Finance Controller.

Among other things you will be responsible for

• Leading and driving the D365 ERP project from planning to implementation.
• Drafting and following up on project plan, milestones, resources and deadlines.
• Coordinating collaboration between management, finance, IT, employees and external suppliers.
• Identifying and describing business needs and ensuring that financial processes and reporting requirements are embedded in the solution.
• Coordinating testing, data migration, training and go-live.
• Ensuring a smooth transition from project to operations and anchoring in the organization.
• Contributing to optimising financial processes, reporting and internal workflows.
• In time taking on broader responsibility within financial controlling and financial management.

You do not need to be the deepest D365 specialist. The most important thing is that you understand the needs of the finance function, can drive a project and can translate business requirements into solutions that work in practice.

Your background

Ideally you have good experience with project management of ERP, IT or digitalisation projects , and have been involved in implementing or upgrading an ERP system. You also have a solid financial background and experience with accounting, financial management and controlling.

We imagine that you might come from a role such as

• Finance Controller or Financial Controller.
• Accounting clerk/auditor with strong IT and system competencies.
• Financial Accountant with experience from ERP projects.
• Finance professional with responsibility for system implementation or optimisation of financial processes.

You have a relevant education and understanding of central accounting processes, monthly closings, reconciliations, reporting and financial follow-up.

It is an advantage if you have experience with D365 or previous AX, but not a requirement. Experience with other ERP systems and an understanding of the link between finance, trade, production, warehousing and logistics are also relevant.

The decisive factor is that you have both the financial expertise to perform a Finance Controller role and the ability to drive a cross-functional project.
