Together with three leadership colleagues, you will work to develop and strengthen holistic care, where care, nursing, and training are planned and delivered as a single cohesive effort for the benefit of the citizens.

Your role as leader

As the operations manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a holistic care group with two multidisciplinary fixed teams of engaged staff, consisting of nurses, therapists, social and health care assistants, social and health helpers as well as unskilled workers. You will be a visible and approachable leader who creates direction, supports collaboration across professions and helps the staff succeed with their core task.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

  • perform personnel leadership and support well-being, learning, and development
  • ensure high professional quality and patient safety
  • take responsibility for operations, planning, and the use of the group’s resources
  • drive and support continuous improvement work in close collaboration with the staff
  • create frameworks for a strong working environment characterized by collaboration, trust and shared responsibility

When we ask the staff in Alderslyst N what they want from their upcoming daily leader, the following is pointed to:

"We need a leader who can create security in change, keep the direction, and help us succeed together."

Therefore we are looking for a leader who creates followership through clarity, trust, and presence. A leader who is curious, gives room for engagement and responsibility, and manages to bring together different professional groups around common goals for the benefit of the citizens.

About the work community

At Færgevej 1 we work from a common ambition to create the best possible pathways for the citizens through high professionalism, present leadership, and close cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The work community consists of four holistic care groups.

Across the groups, we place emphasis on

  • A strong focus on the core task and the citizens’ needs
  • Close multidisciplinary collaboration between nurses, social and health care assistants, social and health helpers, therapists, and unskilled staff
  • A culture shaped by trust, participation, and shared responsibility
  • Person-centered care as the guiding principle for our professional practice

We believe that the best solutions arise from a strong interaction between citizens, staff, and leaders. Therefore we work with a high degree of trust, shared responsibility, and involvement, so decisions are made close to the task and to those it concerns.

We offer

  • A high degree of influence and co-determination and the opportunity to make a clear impact on the development of holistic care
  • Engaged staff with great professional pride
  • An work environment characterized by collaboration, engagement, and job satisfaction.
  • A strong leadership community with a focus on sparring and joint solutions
  • A focus on competence development and leadership development

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and the local wage formation agreement.

We imagine you

  • Have a health-professional background and a leadership education or motivation to pursue a leadership education.
  • Have experience with personnel management and create well-being through trust, inclusion, and clear communication.
  • Can create followership and engagement around common goals
