Children and parents in Kværndrup need more in-home daycare providers. We are short of places, and therefore we are looking for you who dream of a free and independent job.

You work in your own home

• You are lucky to work from home, which provides a very good balance between work and family life.
• You save time and travel costs to and from work.
• You have the opportunity to care for your own child under 2 years and 11 months if both child and parents can thrive with it
• You become part of a large collegial network, even though you work in your own home.
• We expect space for play and learning in your home, not necessarily a room.

We expect you to

• Plan your working day together with the children, so the activities are based on their interests.
• Can create a daily routine that inspires and motivates the children to play and learn.
• Have a home with good conditions for play and learning – both indoors and outdoors.
• Can establish a good parent collaboration based on involvement, dialogue and trust.
• Can have a reflective view of yourself and your professional skills in the work.
• Participate in a playroom group with colleagues outside your own home once every 14 days.
• Will engage in the work with the pedagogical curricula.

About the job

• The work as a day care provider includes working hours that can be in the time frame from 6:15 to 16:45.

Example of a work week can look like this: 06:15-16:00 Monday-Thursday and 06:15-15:15 Friday.

• You will become part of a network group of 3-4 day care providers, who meet once every 14 days in a playroom.
• You will join a good work community with your day care colleagues and in close cooperation with the team leaders,

how we are jointly developing a professional care offering for the youngest children.

Employment conditions

• Full-time position
• You accrue ½ day off per month.
• We obtain criminal and child protection checks upon employment.
• Pay and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement (FOA).
• The base salary as of 01.04.2026 is DKK 337,235.00 + pension (annually).

You receive as a day care provider a tax deduction of 60% of the salary after AM- and ATP contributions for the allocation of expenses for the children’s meals and maintenance of the home.
