Do you want to work with the best from day care, but with colleagues close by in daily life?

We are establishing a new large day care and are seeking engaged employees who, together with us, want to develop a safe, present and professionally strong day care offer for the youngest children. The large day care shall build on the qualities we know from day care: small groups, close relationships, security, presence and close parental collaboration. The difference is that you are several day care providers working together at the same workplace and sharing responsibility for the children and daily life.

We want a large day care where there is room for both immersion, play, outdoor life, routines, good learning environments and the small moments which are so meaningful for the well-being and development of small children.

You work in premises designed for the large day care, and when the workday ends, you go home and have your private home to yourself.

Working hours are organized in a work plan, where you take turns having early and late shifts.

Three day care providers are sought for 37-hour positions.

We expect that you

• are passionate about working with children aged 0-2 years
• are passionate about working professionally and pedagogically with children – where you always keep the children's well-being, learning and development in focus
• that you can both stand on your own professional legs and be part of a committed work community.
• have a good intuition and can create security and good relationships through care and presence
• can see each individual child's needs and plan the daily life accordingly
• want good collaboration - with children, parents, colleagues and day care educators
• manage to work closely with multidisciplinary partners; for example speech therapist, physiotherapist/occupational therapist, Multidisciplinary Team, Health Visitor and others.
• have a desire to help develop something new, take responsibility and actively contribute to joint solutions
• contribute to the practical tasks that come with everyday life in a large day care.

All new day care providers participate in a program with day care education – including ICDP, language, body and movement, learning and development environments, parental collaboration and first aid. You will be equipped for the work of translating the Daycare's curriculum in relation to how you create the best framework for the children's learning, well-being, development and formation.

Your salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the current collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. References, criminal and child protection checks will be obtained before final employment.
