Are you a proficient Danish teacher with strong relationship skills and a desire to create safe and motivating learning communities?

We are looking for a Danish teacher for Holbergskolen, who always has the children in mind and understands the importance of a good relationship.

The position is in our primary school, where you will be a central part of the students' first year of school and have the opportunity to build strong academic and social foundations for the children. We also dream of strengthening our focus on reading and children's language skills, and therefore it would be an advantage if you are a trained reading advisor or would like to become one. We need a colleague who has strong relationship skills . You can build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues and see the relationship as a prerequisite for learning, development, and well-being.

You are able to create structure, calm, and opportunities for participation for all students through a clear and recognizing approach.

You are a trained teacher with teaching competence in Danish.

It would be an advantage if you are trained as a reading advisor or have an interest in the area. We also welcome you to contact us if you would like to complete the reading advisor training as part of your work with us.

Other subject competencies may of course also be interesting, and we are curious about what else you can contribute with.

You meet the children where they are, based on a basic understanding that all children do their best within the framework they have.
