Haarby School is looking for an engaged and relation‑oriented teacher who is enthusiastic about students' academic development and well‑being. It is an advantage if you also have competencies in crafts and design and/or physical education.

This is a full‑time position starting on December 1, 2026.

About us

Haarby School is a two‑stream school located in Haarby in Assens Municipality. We have about 325 students and around 40 dedicated staff members. The school is surrounded by good facilities for movement, and nature is an active part of our everyday life.

We are in the middle of an exciting development process, where we are working purposefully with our five values: integrity, curiosity, courage, humility and perseverance. Our most important task is to prepare the students for the future – while preserving their curiosity, joy of life and desire to participate actively in the community.

About the position

We are looking for a teacher who can teach Danish in the early years and also preferably crafts and design. You should want to work with the youngest students and be focused on creating a school day where students experience security and a desire to learn.

In the early years, it is important for us that you can create clear and secure frameworks where students have the opportunity to develop academically, socially and personally. You should be able to meet the children with presence, clarity and warmth, while also having an eye for each child’s participation opportunities.

In addition to Danish and possibly crafts and design or physical education, we are curious about what else you can contribute. Please tell us what academic competencies, interests or experiences you bring.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and based on local salary formation rules.
